Zomato is winning the internet after they replied to a customer who asked for a rider who is not non-Hindu.
A twitter user tweeted to Zomato and asked them to cancel his order because they allocated a non-Hindu driver to deliver his food. Zomato said they cannot change the rider and can’t refund the money on cancellation. Amit Shukla the customer said he doesn’t care about the refund he just wants to cancel his order because he was allocated a non-Hindu rider to deliver his food. Zomato replied to the customer by tweeting, “Food doesn’t have a religion. It is a religion.”
Zomato’s savage reply to the man has left everyone impressed online. Many people have supported Zomato and have even asked to Zomato to permanently block this customer so that he learns his lesson.
Deepinder Goyal founder of Zomato also tweeted “We are proud of the idea of India – and the diversity of our esteemed customers and partners. We aren’t sorry to lose any business that comes in the way of our values.”
A simple yet savage reply has helped Zomato to gain more popularity on the digital platform the tweet has been already been re-tweeted 29.3k times and has 94.3k likes.
